Fundamental Steps
Starting out in your dance journey can be intimidating, especially if you've never danced before.
Our Fundamentals class (Tuesday and Thursday 7:30pm-8:00) is designed to get you social dancing as fast as possible.
When you first begin to learn to dance, there are a few hurdles that can slow down the learning process. Fundamentals is a class designed to address those, however, sometimes students have asked us what they can do to practice at home. This is why we have decided to upload a few short tutorials on some of the steps we work on, if you practice these just 5 minutes a day, our classes will become easier and you'll have a funner time!

Paso de son
Follow along warm up video for one of our fundamental class steps. "Paso de Son" Paso de Son is a step that is used in Casino when dancing in closed position. In our class we detail it very thoroughly, so use this short if you have a base already to work with.
Casino Basico
For Casino (that's what we call "Cuban Salsa" back home!), Casino basico is an incredibly useful step!
If you've taken our fundamentals class, you might remember us saying that Casino basico teaches you two essential techniques for partnerwork.
-Traveling on Rhythm
-Changes directions smoothly (pivot)
Master this step and you'll be pulling off turn patterns smoothly in no time!
